Space specific video installation @ FIBER festival 2012 

”The work Cubebender by Krista van der Wilk seeks a tension by returning to the source of the moving image. This is done by working with the elements light, time and space. Sunlight alights on a virtual space created by her, which seems to be part of the space in which the life-size projection takes place. It becomes really clear that the space is not part of our reality, when it transforms and deforms in a natural-looking way. This slow transformation takes the visitor to a reality where the laws of time and space slowly ‘bend’.”
